We made trips to her family in Nong Khai and to Chang Mai, Laos and Penang (Malaysia). 

• Morlam festival
In October 2008 we organized a Morlam festival (live Thai folk and pop music) for Pens family, her friends and the whole neighbourhood.

• Our house in Phen
A specious house in the Isan, between Nong Khai and Udon Thani. 

The whole family in the loading platform. It's the Isan way of transport. Of course princess Phen wants to sit besides the driver.

Before the morlam festival starts, an Isan breakfast is served.

Phen is praying. Her mother died one year ago. She suffered from diabetes, like I do.

We organized a morlam festival. It was a big party with app. 150 spectators: family, friends, neighbours and people who heard the music.

Thai police officers. Take them seriously, please. Give them a few bottles of beer and 1000 baht (20 euro) and they don't make problems.

And they are funny.

Outside, many Thai -I've never seen them before- enjoyed the morlam festival.l
