The tournament will take place in Jomtien (near Pattaya), Thailand.

9 rounds Swiss-system, FMJD-rules.

Everyday at 2 o’clock there is a possibility to join the daily excursion.
Inscription fee: 45.00 euro.
The tournament will take place in the Jomtien Garden Hotel
(a **** hotel).

This year there will also be the possibility to join a Roundtrip through
Thailand (North), right after the tournament. This trip will be organized by Mathieu Corporaal, owner of the Tuliphouse in Jomtien (hotel/restaurant/travel office). He can arrange an advantageous arrangement for this tour.

We aim on at least 50 participants. Some players have already submitted an application! Beside Surinamese top players as Malahe, Sakidin and Kalpoe also players as old world champion Valneris will join! The current world champion Schwarzman has also been invited (not confirmed yet).
Of course the winner of Thailand Open 2007 Alexei Tsjizjov had also been invited to defend his title.
